SPRING has sprung. Easter and Passover have occurred and we’re beginning the second quarter of the year!
According to www.thepowerpath.com, Momentum is the theme and focus of April. It’s a time to move ahead, complete and initiate…essential actions based on your conscious intentions and capacity to discern and prioritize. In other words:
- What do you really want?
- How are you acting on and fulfilling your intentions?
- Are there things you need to release or projects you need to complete?
- In what way are you responding to the creative impulse yearning to express?
As April 6 is my birthday, this is always a time of year when I re-look at the intentions I set; assess, adjust or accelerate my action steps so that I get on track and stay in alignment.
I encourage you to do the same and take advantage of the energy of momentum to move forward.
Creating a phenomenal life begins with conscious intention-setting. Consider these 7 tips:
- Re-assess, release or renew your intentions. Establish new ones if appropriate. Do so with an attitude of joyful expectancy and thanksgiving, feeling into their fulfillment with all your senses. Taste, smell, see, hear, and touch your intentions in fruition. Bask in the joy of their manifestation!
- Be the commitment. Build on what works and release what doesn’t work or doesn’t serve you moving forward. Release with forgiveness, compassion and self-care.
- Incorporate a holistic approach to setting intentions with a commitment to maintain bodymindspirit health and well-being.
- Allow your wildest imagination to fuel your ideas and intentions, while balancing them with concrete, practical action-steps to “make real” your intentions
- Divide your intentions into long-term (1-3 years); short-term (3-6 months) and NOW (1-7 days) timeframes. In this way, you avoid overwhelm by categorizing and prioritizing.
- Chunk down your 1-year intention into 30-60-90 day timeframes. Identify a minimum of 3 action steps for each week of the 30-60- 90 days increments. Monitor your progress and adjust weekly.
- Invite an Accountability Partner to support you, and support them as well. You’re far more likely to stay on track when you’re accountable to someone other than yourself.
Have fun with the process!
