Are You a Revolutionary, Evolutionary or Solutionary, Part 1

In these uncertain and unsettling times,

  • Are you concerned about what might happen to you or someone you know?
  • Do you worry or feel stressed about your future or that of your children?
  • Are you wondering how best you can respond to the challenges in your life and in the world?

Recently, I’ve asked myself and highly encourage you to ask yourself:

Am I a revolutionary? Revolution is a complete turn; a sudden, extreme or complete change as in manner of living or working. It is also a fundamental change in political power, such as the overthrow of a ruler or government. Therefore, a revolutionary is one engaged in establishing fundamental or complete change.

Am I an evolutionary? Evolution is the gradual development of something, especially from a simple to more complex form. It is also the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth. Therefore, an evolutionary is one who understands and promotes the fact that human beings are consciously evolving beyond what we are now.

Am I a solutionary? Solution is the action or process of solving a problem or an answer to a problem. Therefore a solutionary is a problem solver or inventive activist. Also one who uses their talents and passions to create solutions to environmental, social and economic problems in our communities.

Given the definitions above, what do you consider yourself? What resonates most with you? Or do you feel you’re a combination of these qualities?  ‘Being’ who you are informs what you ‘do’.

These times call for you and I to be revolutionaries, evolutionaries or solutionaries; to stand in our power, connect with others of like-heart and like-mind and move forward with a shared vision of what we want to experience in our lives and in our world.

Rather than feeling powerless or disenchanted, as if you can’t change anything, be willing, positive, committed and open to support. Together we can peacefully assert ourselves, constructively engage with others and co-create innovative solutions.

Therefore, how are you?

  • Choosing to stand in your power
  • Connecting with like-hearted and like-minded allies
  • Collectively moving forward to bring your vision into reality

I’d love to know your responses to the questions above.

To delve further into how you are responding to change or creating change, you may also schedule a Seeding Success Strategy Session with me. This is a 45-minute phone session to identify current issues, explore new possibilities and determine next steps for your empowerment. Schedule at: [email protected]

Let’s reconnect in my next blog as we explore the question: Are You Clear about Your ‘Assignment’ at this time of profound change for humanity and the planet?

Finally, April is my birthday month and I celebrate it the entire month!
