Welcome Spring!

April is my favorite month; Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, the Holy Days, Jazz Appreciation Month, National Poetry Month and My Birthday….74 years young on April 6!

• What does the Spring Season mean to you?

• In what ways is this time challenging or rewarding?

My plate has been full since the start of the year, as I’m involved with multiple ‘projects’! During March:

• East Bay Church of Religious Science Women’s History Month Program, during which I shared my poem: “WHOLE, PERFECT, COMPLETE!” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zua1Evlo2gM approximately 55:15 mark, and keep listening for some awesome music and song jams…

• Elegant Elders Rite of Passage, March 17-19 during which I joined 10 other women to become Initiated Elders, facilitated by Yeye Luisah Teish, ritualist, author, speaker, spiritual advisor. We met weekly for almost 2 years, and since our Rite of Passage, will engage with other Elders and possibly participate in Intergenerational Dialogues in coming months,

• My son’s 37^th birthday and subsequent home purchase in Pinole, CA.,

• Chaitra Navaratri, a Hindu Spring Celebration honoring the Goddess Shakti namely Durga, Saraswati and Lakshmi, and seeking their divine blessings.

Consider the auspicious time of Ramadan, Passover and Easter occurring within the same week in April; a season of giving in each tradition.

Business Update

For the past 3 months, I’ve been in the BROADCAST YOUR BRILLIANCE BOOT CAMP, facilitated by Nancy Juetten, Master Wordsmith, Coach, Trainer, Networker, Motivator and Experienced Businesswoman. She’s knowledgeable, connected and consistently expects our best in every regard. Therefore, I feel fortunate for the weekly “Office Hours” with her, plus engaging with other seasoned entrepreneurs and business consultants. In addition to PODCASTING MASTERY, she provided viable business strategies and tips that are upgrading my business presence and viability, including Chat GPT! It has been a deeply informative, challenging, enriching experience. And indeed, a Boot Camp!

I’m most grateful to be acquiring new information and skills, sharpening my messaging, deepening my capacity to communicate the “value” of my work with clients and colleagues. To date I’ve scheduled 10 podcasts, and video-taped 5 podcasts thus far! Check out these two podcasts when you have time…
