Transition Times – How Well Are You Navigating?
Are you:
- feeling the impact of “busy”, “full”, “non-stop” or “too much”?
- frustrated by the overwhelm and stress of trying to keep it all together?
- wondering if you can really “go with the flow”, or “be still and know”?
As you seek to navigate these times of transition and transformation, you’re not the only one saying, “enough, already”!
Reflecting on the first part of the year:
- What goals and intentions did you establish?
- How would you assess your progress?
- Are you ready to remove obstacles and create tangible, prosperous results?
And for second half of the year:
- What are you seeking?
- Are you choosing to do some things differently?
- How do you want to feel about your year in December 2014?
You may not have achieved all that you set out to; you may have become distracted or strayed away from your goal; or you may have simply lost your momentum or direction. You have the power to re-assess, renew, and recharge to create and manifest what’s most important for you.
Prepare yourself NOW to create a more fruitful and joyful year! Begin by focusing on Stress Release and Self-Care.
Transition Self-Care Tips
Implement these 4 Self-Care Tips to move through these changing times in a more empowered way.
- Meditate with a Focus on the Breath
Spend 5 – 10 minutes to be still and quiet. Breathe in deeply, breathe out slowly several times. Consciously slowing the pace of breathing will help reduce stress, allowing you to become more calm and centered. This will quiet your mind and relax your body.
- Spend Quality time in Nature
Schedule time each week to bask in nature. Walk briskly or leisurely in a neighborhood or regional park, and experience it with all your senses. Commune with trees in the forest. A walk along the marina or beach is nurturing and refreshing. Be open to what nature can teach you…and enjoy!
- Make Pampering a Priority
A foot soak is a treat. Use a small tub, warm water, and Epsom salt to soak and relax your feet. Scrub each foot gently with a loofah brush. Massage your feet with aromatherapy oil such as lavender or sandlewood. You can do this for yourself, or invite a friend to join you. Wash your friend’s feet and allow them to wash yours. Make a ritual of releasing, cleansing, relaxing…it’s magical!
- Expand your Circle of Support
Consciously and intentionally seek the company of friends whose energy is positive, nurturing and uplifting. Reciprocate. Be there for one another to listen, understand and trust. Allow yourself to be supported as you support them.
Which tip are you ready to use? Choose, apply, enjoy…it will support you to navigate these times of transition gently, masterfully, and gracefully.
“Realize that now, in this moment of time, you are creating. You are creating your next moment. That is what’s real.”
