Moving Through This Final Quarter Triumphantly
This year has been particularly challenging and stressful for many of us. We’ve encountered unprecedented political mayhem, intensified weather catastrophes, heart-breaking losses and more. Very few if any of us have come through 2017 unscathed! We’ve resisted, endured, risked and also triumphed.
- For what are you most proud?
- In what ways have you been victorious?
- What have you yet to complete or achieve?
During this final quarter is the time to assess how and where you’ve been.
- Have I met my milestones?
- Do I need to adjust my priorities?
- How can I ensure my success?
Not only can you course-correct or bring closure to some of your projects, but you can also begin to set your priorities or frame your commitments for 2018 and beyond. There’s no doubt in my mind that you and I want a different, better, rewarding new year.
- What are you willing to be or do differently?
- Is there something that you’ve been denying, postponing or keeping on the back burner?
- What are your compelling intentions or priorities?
All the questions above are thought-provoking. To respond, I’m listening to my heart and soul, and I hope that you’ll do so as well.
Carrying out your commitments can be challenging; staying in your comfort zone or maintaining familiar habits creates a false illusion of security, and seeking the right help or support can make the difference between you falling short or joyfully fulfilling intentions.
However, at this critical time, the stakes are much higher individually, collectively, globally. It’s absolutely essential that you maintain integrity regarding your intentions, priorities, and commitments. It is equally important to be conscious of how you and your service to others impact the country, world, and health of Mother Earth.
Each of us is called to show up, stand up and step up, in courageous, creative ways with like-hearted people to transform our challenges on a personal and global level. We are the ones who must co-create the world that we want for ourselves, our children, grandchildren and seven generations beyond…It’s vital that we co-create it now!
Despite the people or things that disturb or discourage you, I wholeheartedly believe in the power for good in the world…and I’m committed to be a power for good and peace in the world. Join me!
I would be honored to support you to fulfill your priorities, maintain healthy boundaries, stay focused and cross the end-of-year finish line triumphantly. We can also look at creative strategies to plan for an awesome new year. Together, let’s explore what option for guidance and support would be most appropriate for you with a complimentary 45-minute phone session. “Your vision of what’s possible and your desire to make it happen must be bigger than your fear.”
Great perspective here Harriet – no point in wallowing in the mess and chaos others are causing, that seems to be prevailing right now. Better to take your approach and focus on the things you can influence – deliberately, to improve outcomes. Uplifting as ever!
Hello Harriet,
Thank you for asking the “tough questions” as this year nears the end. Some will say ‘good riddance 2017!” I know people who said the same thing in 2015 and 2016. The stakes are increasing and so is the work required to deal with those stakes. Those who have the courage to go within and deal with ourselves are finding that as the stakes are raised, the rewards are higher as well. It is only our resistance to the new that creates the struggle. Globally, collectively, many of us are still resisting the new — the un-comfort zone — and find ourselves struggling.
However, I also believe that it is our Light and our Intent to co-create a better world that is dredging up all that needs to be released of the old before we can lay the foundation for that new and better world that many of us long to see and be part of.
Personally, I have grown more this year than many prior years, meeting the challenges in my life with willingness to examine, stretch, expand, reconsider and express more of who I am. For me, this has been an exhilarating year and I have also felt exhausted many times. But somehow, each morning, I arise and have the energy to continue with a smile on my face and gratitude in my heart. It is quite The Journey.
Blessings to you My Dear for doing your work and assisting so many others to do theirs, Alia
